"Star Trek Script Reading"
Have you ever wanted to act out your favourite Star Trek scene?
Here’s you big chance.
At July’s Member Meeting, we’re going to be doing readings from some of your favourite Star Trek episodes and movies.
There’s no rules; just your interpretation! Whether you’re a method actor, do a great impersonation, or just love to get up in front of a crowd; we’re keen for you to participate.
The scenes will be voted on at the June meeting, and will be posted on the website prior to the meeting. Make sure you turn up in June so your favourite scene and character make it.

Austrek Meeting
"Ferengi Bazaar & Sci-Fi Collectable's & Collecting"
After the success of the April meeting, we’ve decided to do another Ferengi Bazaar day!
The Bazaar will start at 1:00pm and run all afternoon. A table will cost $10 for the afternoon. If you want 2 tables it will be $20, and so on and so forth. Half tables are also available for members only at 5$. Tables can be booked at club meetings between now and August or by calling Mark Geraghty on 0418 889 950.
In addition to the Bazaar, we’ve decided to switch our Collectables presentation from June to August. As always, Scott Liston, one of Australia’s premiere Trek collectors (and Austrek El Presidente) will talk about the in and outs of collecting memorabilia. Mark Geraghty will also do special presentation on Star Trek trading cards, and how they have come from humble gum cards to highly-collectable, long-term investments.

We have a lot of fun at the Austrek Xmas meeting, everyone is welcome. Great door prizes, raffle, food and conversations about the year past and the year to come.
Cost is $5.50 for members and $10 for non members (one more good reason to become a member), includes one drink and entry into the door prizes.
